Hey hey! My name is Kennedy Cannon and I am an incoming 3rd year BFA Dance major. This quarantine has given me the motivation I never knew I needed. With school being now online it has given me the opportunity to tap into some new hobbies such as doing my makeup, painting, baking, and making more music playlists! Time away from everything has given me time to think about everything and just stop and be grateful for everything.

As soon as I found out school was gonna be online for the remainder of the semester, I felt overwhelmed, confused, and scared. I thought that everything that I had been working on was going to be in vain and useless. I felt as though all of my artistic improvement was going to go on a decline. Fortunately enough everything I seemed to have been working on before quarantine came full circle and is starting to piece together. With having all of the time in the world now it has allowed me to dig deeper into my artistry. It seemed as though while school was in session I was going through the motions with mostly everything; I was thinking I was just doing. Having everything at a stand still I've no choice but to think and reflect. My thinking and reflecting has allowed me to grow closer in my faith, my artistic abilities, and who I am in society; what is my purpose.

In my spare freetime I enjoy spending time with my parents. Watching netflix...lol. Talking with my other family members. As well reconnecting with some old friends as far back as elementary school and keeping in touch with my more recent friends. I’m curious to see how much self-growth I will have once all of this is over.
