Tech out Georgina's Summer

Hey everyone! I'm Georgina Garza, originally from Austin, and I am a 4th year BA Dance and Computer Science double major. This upcoming school year I will act as a Co-Production Coordinator, more specifically the Logistics Coordinator.
At the very beginning of summer, just a week after school had ended, I attended that ARCOS Summer Workshop, doing both the Performance and Development tracks. A week or two after that, I attended the Houston METdance professional intensive with recent UT grad Ginnifer Joe.
Although I started off my summer dancing, the majority of my summer has been more devoted to my Computer Science side. For 10 weeks of this summer, I have been working as a Software Engineering intern at JPMorgan & Chase in Houston. With the other interns on my team, I've been working on creating a web application to automate a process currently being done manually by other developers in the office.
Other than working and dancing, I've spent most of my weekends having fun with friends and just enjoying the summertime while it's here. I'm excited to be getting back to school soon and to work alongside Emily, Maddie, and Atticus throughout the year for all of Dance Action's shows.
